Wonderful Mid Century lithograph by Swiss artist Walter Bodmer (1903-73). (I have seen this listed as both a woodblock and a lithograph, but as Bodmers father had a lithographic business, I think it is most probably a lithograph.
From a limited edition of 200. The frame size is approximately
W.60cm x H.47cm.
Bodmer was a founding member of the influential Swiss Gruppe 33, a committed anti fascist group of artists. He was also part of the Allianz collective.
The print would probably benefit from reframing. There is some wrinkling to the paper (although not as bad as the photos suggest). I'm sure a good framer could deal with this.
