A handprinted woodblock (?), by German artist and designer Wilhelm Rupperecht(1886-1963).
Rupperecht was involved in many disciplines including painting, print and stained glass. 
This print is a handmade card printed by the artist as a New Year’s greeting card for the year 1928.
A great fun expressionist image, probably just created to give to friends and family.
The frame size is approximately 30cm x 25cm.
The image is good, with quite a bit of foxing, but I don’t think it affects the overall appearance.
