Kiyoko Kobayashi (b.1947), Japanese limited edition lithograph.

I believe this work is called ‘Time correspondence’.

The piece is very typical of Kiyoko Kobayashi’s work - graphic, textured in appearance, muted tones.

It dates from 1979, just predating the 80s feeling it gives me.

It’s signed, dated, numbered 29 of just 30 prints and titled in Japanese script.

It has some discolouration and a little foxing, but nothing that I think detracts from the image.

Kiyoko Kobayashi’s work is held in very high regard.
The British Museum and the Art Institute of Chicago are just a couple of major institutions that hold his work.

A fairly large piece, the frame measures approximately 89.5cm x 70.5cm.
