A set of four of these gorgeous chairs, designed by Norwegian, Hans Brattrud for Hove Mobler of Norway.
I had thought, initially, that they were teak, but on closer inspection, I think they are a light rosewood. (Also the opinion of some fellow dealers).
It does seem that many of the rosewood examples online, are also a very light colour, and not with particularly figured markings.
In very good vintage condition.  The screws have lost their shine, as they always appear to do. The chrome frame has some loss and pitting (again, very often seen on these chairs). 
Overall, they are lovely, clean chairs, with just the right amount of patina.
