This is a beautifully composed work, which I think is a screenprint.
I don't know much about the artist. 
I do know a Frances Parker exhibited at the RSA (Royal Scottish Academy) in 1981, was an Edinburgh artist, and the label to the back is for Aitken Dott, a highly regarded Edinburgh gallery and framers (now the Scottish Gallery), but beyond that, very little.
The print is in very nice condition, the subtle colours still very fresh. 
The original frame has flaking paint, but I'm going to leave it as it is, to keep it original, and because I think it suits the picture very well.
The frame size is approximately 64cm x 55cm.
