Fabulous, period piece of art, from the 1960s depicting stylised knights or warriors holding shields and spears. Spence’s artworks were sold through Liberty’s of London amongst other places, at this time.
The panel is a wonderful mixture umbers with areas of stronger reds and even hints of yellowish greens (Although I am a little red-green colourblind so make your own mind up).
It’s a very large panel, measuring approximately 116cm x 62cm.
The rather crude metal frame, I would guess to be original.

In good original vintage condition, with just a little bit of discolouration (dirt) to the whiter areas, although I’ll give these a gentle clean and I think they may improve. They’re not too significant as it is.
There metal frame is a little scuffed and marked, but works well with the piece.

A great piece of 1960s art.
