Ceri Richards must be considered one of the most important Welsh artists of the Twentieth century, and indeed, one of Britain’s too.
This is a lovely, abstract depiction of a Welsh? landscape or perhaps French, both of which frequently appear in his work.
Apparently simple, there’s a great deal of movement and texture to this print.
Approximately 80cm x 76cm (frame size).
In good condition, with a little toning and a very small tear to one edge, as pictured.
