A little bronze table sculpture in the form of a stylised owl.
Probably German - it was cast by the Guss Wittkamp foundry.
I’d guess 1960s or 70s.
It is signed LT or TL and numbered VI (6).
It has eyes all round, presumably alluding to the owls’ ability to turn its head right round.
I think it’s solid bronze, it’s quite heavy for a small object.
It measures approximately 13.5 cm high.
It’s in good condition, I have just given it a very light clean. It could shine up much more, but I wouldn’t recommend that.
Someone is selling the same sculpture online for €999!
Don’t know what else to say.
It’s a lovely little piece.
Just one, not a Parliament of owls!
