The best vintage Bertoia Diamond chair I’ve ever had, and possibly ever seen.
This one is completely original and dates from the early 70s.
The white Rislan coating is almost completely intact, just a few minor chips, which could be touched in. The worst chip is not seen when the chair is upright. Some crazing to the finish, as seen.
The original seat pad is in good condition. The internal foam is a little hard, but it’s perfectly functional.
This is my favourite Diamond chair set up.
The small seat pad for comfort and the rest of the chair open and airy, as Bertoia intended.
Being so good, it’s not the cheapest I’ve had, but must be one of the best priced for an early, iconic chair.
